Slit Maxi Skirt

Hi there and happy Monday to you!

There are a few things I must have for the summer and one of which are maxi skirts.  It's easy to style, you can go casual or dress it up like I did for this outfit.  The dressy top is by BCBG, it has a lovely print, beautiful details like ruffles on one shoulder and not to mention the pop of color.  I added a skinny belt for a classy look.

Turquoise Shorts and Lace-Up Sandals

Hi there, hope you're doing well today.  I'm ready for the weekend ... are you?

It's hard for me to find the right pair of shorts.  Either it's too short and tight or too loose and baggy, so what's my solutions?   I use a pair of fitting pants and cut them into shorts.  :)  This way, I can have a comfortable fitting waistline and also be able to adjust the length of the short to my liking.  I love the turquoise color on this and I think it makes a good pairing with my lace-up sandal heels. :)

I Love Pencil Skirt

Hi there, hope you're having a great day!

Pencil skirt are so professional and anyone can wear them.  This gorgeous pencil skirt is from Target, love the prints and the beautiful colors.  Since the skirt is the statement piece of this outfit, I wanted to keep the top neutral.  This purple pastel top (Wet Seal) have soft fabric with some sheer and texture to it ... beautiful feminine detail and does not compete with is gorgeous skirt.

Pleates, Ruffles and Bow

I love all things pretty and girly and this outfit makes me feel so girly and grown up.  A simple pleated skirt, a bold color halter top (with pretty ruffles and bow), a pair of black suede pump, and a gold chain purse complete this look for me.

Casual Chic

Hi there, hope you're having a nice day.  It's another beautiful day here ... hot but beautiful.  :)  I tried some evening shots today and I think I like it better.  The glow from the sunset gives the photos a nice soft glow.

Mini Skirt and Silk Blouse

Woohoo ... happy Friday everyone!  Do you have any plans for Father's Day weekend?  I wish I live closer to my family so we can celebrate and laugh together ... ahhh the good old days!

Today, I'm wearing a lovely mini skirt from Arden B. a silk blouse from Annex and a pair of shoes from Target.  I've worn this shoe so many times ... super comfortable!
